Karja Suchana Kendra Limited appoints D&B as the technology and business partner to upgrade the Nepalese credit bureau October 1st, 2012 Established in 1989 under the directive of Nepal Rastra Bank, Nepals’s first and only private credit bureau – Karja Suchana Kendra Limited (KSKL) has appointed D&B as a technology & business partner. KSKL is jointly owned by Commercial Banks, Finance Companies, Development Banks in Nepal and Nepal Rastra Bank. The KSKL credit bureau has been functioning since 1989 and in 2012, they have received support from Asian Development Bank to launch a Request for Proposal inviting international companies to bid for upgrading their system and offering business consultancy services. After a three month bidding process, Dun & Bradstreet has been appointed as the preferred vendor. “D&B has been a strong player in the South Asian credit bureau domain since more than a decade. We are partners with the Indian credit bureau – CIBIL, Maldives Credit Bureau, Sri Lankan Credit Information Bureau and the Bhutanese Credit Information Bureau.
